Since 2004, I have contributed code, bug fixes and documentation to base R. The most visible changes for the user include added functionality in aggregate, barplot, boxplot, and type.convert.

- MSSQL - Browse Microsoft SQL Server databases via RODBC
- ora - Browse Oracle databases and import data into R
- plotMCMC - Plot results from Markov chain Monte Carlo analyses

- scape - Import, plot, and diagnose results from statistical catch-at-age models
